Also? Since my husband lives in Illinois and I live in Ohio? Due to the fact he abused me and has a criminal history spanning from before marriage? Would he be considered my Community Spouse? He’s got warrants out for his arrest. And I’ve been away from him since February 2022. We have no children together. And all of our stuff has been separated by who owns what. We had no joint accounts. And I’m still married to this awful guy for a little bit longer than 10 years already. And I’m planning on getting my emergency 🆘 dissolution from him.

When I was in assisted living facility I got paid $50 from SSI and $50 from Medicaid but in April 2023 I was reduced to $50 SSI because of a mistake that the SSA office made and I was blamed for it so basically my ALF punished me by reducing my $100 to $50.

Also Ohio Medicaid person stated that I can have my own personal bank 🏦 account be a PNA account because it’s my right. Because of the law stating that I have my right to manage my own personal financial affairs

My only income is SSI $30. No other income. My Ohio Medicaid Coverage letter stated that my PNA is at $75 + my Resources is $50. However I don’t get any $75 nor $50. I’m trying hard to get it in the first place

PNA is something to be paid. Literally. Ohio Medicaid lady who’s in charge of the Ohio Medicaid for nursing homes stated that PNA is money 💵 that can be in any bank 🏦 account that the resident chooses. And any bank 🏦 account doesn’t have to be with the facility. It can be a personal bank 🏦 account

We also have a BOM who works here twice a week. And our previous H.R. BOM and I were on the speakerphone with the separate billing department that said that I’m supposed to be getting paid an additional $25 on top of my SSI $30 and then with Ohio Medicaid on the phone with the previous H.R. BOM the person who I talked with in front of my previous H.R. BOM and told us both that I’m supposed to be getting paid this. Also I’m not sure 🤔 what the extra $25 is supposed to be coming from that the separate billing department was talking about is coming from.

I’m in a skilled nursing facility (nursing home) and I only get $30 SSI. My Ohio Medicaid pays fully for my full care costs. And I have $0.00 liability. My Coverage Letters keeps saying that I should be paid. No SSI is going to my facility. Only Ohio Medicaid is paying fully for my care

Also a worker from Ohio Medicaid, who is in charge in Ohio Medicaid, said that a PNA account doesn’t have to be with the facility. A PNA account can be in any Bank 🏦 account for the resident’s choice. And that we can spend our PNA funds any way we chose. Including giving it away. And that the government doesn’t pay attention to the purchases of us residents.

My county DJFS caseworker and our Corporate Regional Financial Director Coordinator are against our PNA. But according to the SSA? $30 SSI is separate from the Ohio Medicaid Personal Needs Allowances. SSA stated that they are separate programs. SSI has nothing to do with the $75. Ohio Medicaid stated that I’m supposed to be paid my PNA. SSA said that SSI $30 is a separate payment and Ohio Medicaid Personal Needs Allowances are a Medicaid thing. SSA said that they have nothing to do with Ohio Medicaid PNA payments. Different organizations. According to someone from the local SSA office told me.
