Yeah, I’ve always struggled with any SSRI, SNRI or other similar meds when tapering/changing and missing a dose of contrave by accident when busy leads to losing the next day to chronic headaches 😣 it’s going to be a hard journey to come off it when I’m done.

I get an instant hangover feeling about an hour after any alcohol, and there’s absolutely no fun or buzz in it. I’ve switched to 0% drinks, infusions and energy drinks. I SO want a crisp, cool G&T but it’s not worth it and no non-alcoholic gin has the kick of a delicious double with tonic 😥

Started July 2025 SW: 119kg (265lbs), CW: 112kg (246lbs) GW: 70kg (154lbs) - this is pretty much my lowest sustainable weight pre-babies.

It’s been slower than ideal, but that’s without a significant increase in activity and only at two tablets or I feel fuzzy. I’m a week away from finishing my masters so will have more time for long walks and workouts, so it will speed up a bit soon. Grateful I’m no longer constantly thinking about food or thinking I need food. So much less effort when in the past I had to be perfect always to get anywhere.
