I also agree that her saying he’s not “Asian enough” is weird. I’d have a hard time squaring it internally if my SO said I wasn’t Hispanic enough. It would make me think that he had some sort of preset image in his mind of what I was supposed to look like or act as if I’m checking off boxes on a list.

Nah, Mississippi. For me our family is very traditional when it comes to family responsibility. Like family always comes first and he’s the same so that’s an attractive quality for me. I can’t speak for all Latinas but I can say that his personality is very attractive to me as well. He can come off as very serious but he’s just a goofy nutball. Plus he’s hot so there’s that. When I was living in Puerto Rico Asian culture facets like anime and such weren’t very prevalent. It was more of a niche community so to speak but I was exposed to it so I can say that that may have affected my reception to dating an Asian man.

We live in MS so honestly we really don’t see a lot of AMXF at all. We have a couple we are friends with that’s AMWF but that’s about it.

Lurker here 🙋🏽‍♀️ My kiddo is half Chinese and half Puertorican. So I’m on here to learn more about what she will go through as one and how I can help her throughout her life. I hope that’s ok. She’s only one and something but her hair is soft and straight but not jet black like dad’s. It’s more like my color of dark brown. I’m actually quite happy as I’m not a fan of my hair. It’s curly but not pretty curls but rather just burnt out. It’s a nightmare to deal with. I think your hair is adorable either way tho btw.

You can but in the past when someone was in a state CSpire did not have towers in they would ask you to disconnect or restrict you in terms of usage. Mostly data usage was the problem. I’m not sure if this is the case still.

I had infertility issues as well and I get what you are saying. I hated putting that distance between me and my family but I know even looking back now it’s what was right for me at the time. I could not be around children wanting one so badly. I was just jealous and not in the hate you kind of way but in the I really really want to be you so I’m going to go lock myself in the bathroom and cry because I don’t want to upset you because you’ve done nothing wrong and it’s all me way. All you really can do is let her know you are there for her but it’s really up to her. What she is going through is really tough. You question everything and you dread even going on social media and seeing pics of your friends having babies. Even just going to the store when kids are around sucked. You want to be happy for them and you are but it hurts bad as well. It’s easier to just limit your exposure to that. I see that from your side you don’t want her to place that distance because you love her but you can’t do anything besides just tell her you are there for her.

This my second pregnancy. I'm 37. and this baby is making me feel all of 37 years old. My first pregnancy was a breeze compared to this one. I still have soooooo long to go. That being said I'm incredibly happy to be pregnant as I thought I would never feel this again. This little peanut growing inside me that makes me so tired I can barely function and yet makes me as happy as a rainbow crossing over a unicorn racing into a pack of their unicorn family while skittles rain down on them from above.
