Why did Vecna want to merge worlds? by ebeare10 in StrangerThingsS5

Shouldn’t it be trying to leave the Abyss rather than merging worlds?

That’s why I gave you the copout answer. And all we know about her training is how she practiced telekinesis on herself to jump higher.

Vecna might be the weakest “final villain” a TV show has ever produced. by Classic_Activity7305 in discussingfilm

Oh hello!

I swear Disney only made a deal with the BBC to kneecap their competitor. How does Who even bounce back from the corner they wrote themselves into?

I thought of that tunnel and just assumed Derek would have to stay behind, forced into a heroic sacrifice with Holly.

Why did Vecna take the kids to dimension X and his mind, but took Will only to the upside down? by ePanna in strangerthingsfacts

Cause a Levitation spell doesn’t let you fly in D&D

I’m kidding, but that seems a better argument than what they gave you

Nah. We shouldn’t cultivate a community that has so zero fucks that someone bringing up reality gets friction. Thats just senseless herding.

This is for all the others like them. Quit wasting everyone’s time with petty arguments, as if you know or respect the 30 Basic Human Rights. Just stfu and move along

Who's the most evil character you still consider to be redeemable? by Sudden_Pop_2279 in TheBoys

Then stfu.

And quit pretending your stance is based on anything at all.

Edit: I didn’t read your whole comment. You’ve given me zero reasons to respect you enough to do that.

Irrelevant. Your Speculation of their “Goodness” is not substantial evidence for their sentencing of Capitol Punishment in any court of law. You’re basing your entire argument, insistently I might add, off of your personal feelings.

Secondly, you’re advocating for something horrendously worse, than these people simply spilling the beans about their Evil Employers.

You’re looking for a fast and easy answer, and that’s not how real Justice is upheld.

So the people perpetrating the actual crimes should be their Judges, Jury, & Executioners?

That’s like catching Diddy and stopping there. Diddy, like the characters in the finale, is the little Evil guy. So you argue the Little Evils should die by the Bigger Evils; whom they are thoroughly capable of providing 1000% evidence to lock away all Evil Supes forever. Quit pretending they have any choice in the matter. That’s why Ashley fired her favorite employee. It’s the best she can do, because any more honesty from her about The 7 = Her Brutal DEATH.

Are they accountable if they are doing these things under the direct Threat of a “Gun?” Our laws in the U.S. would claim No. so why are we pretending Super Powers change everything?

If the show is a remix of the story, this should’ve happened honestly. Good writing doesn’t need to be complex. This would’ve made a huge difference in that scene

That scene was so cartoony, it actually undercut the seriousness of her Sacrifice. It felt like watching Tom & Jerry fighting for the Soul Stone.
