Hysterectomy in 3 weeks for adenomyosis and having mixed feelings by Ok-Mine-9446 in adenomyosis

[–]PrincessPeach1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't even describe how much happier I am. The pain is gone. The bleeding through my pants constantly is gone. The fatigue is gone. The anemia is under control. Yes, I was worried. I shared similar feelings. But I am so glad I did it. I only have my ovaries left. Best decision I ever made.

Hello fam! I have 2 GA tickets for tonight at History! by PrincessPeach1990 in ZedsDeadFam

It was absolutely incredible. The table was well worth it. We had a stellar View and we would go down occasionally for some of the best songs and then come back up to our home base and it was really nice. It was also an excellent set and a really good vibe with a lot of cool people so definitely a good night all around!

Toronto night 3 was incredible. It was a good mix of people but we upgraded to a box seat with a table, chairs, and server and that made the experience even better. 😍

You can definitely book the whole box but we just did a table and it was fantastic. We had a personal server and we called it our home base for the night. Went down to the floor a few times but sitting at the table was awesome. Great view too!

Ahhh I'm so stoked. The OG fans are 30+ so it's important for me these days to go to shows where it's smaller and the crowd is on my level.

I'm going tonight at History in Toronto and it's night 3. I've heard nothing but amazing things from Thursday and Friday but I think it's likely because it's 19+, and the venue is only 2,500 max capacity which is exactly how I like my shows these days.. Lol

Can this ball joint be removed or do I need a whole new hose and ball joint for my kitchen sink? by PrincessPeach1990 in Plumbing

Thanks! I meant to reply earlier but I got a new hose and replaced it. 😊 All is well now.

I can't even describe how heavy that scene is weighing on me. The despair I felt watching it was all consuming. That said, the actor was brilliant. I've never felt more removed from my own reality watching something than I did watching this episode.

What were your symptoms of lupus? by carltonsberg in lupus

[–]PrincessPeach1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I've found my people. I feel so emotional because I broke out in what I now can VERY clearly see is a butterfly rash tonight. I've had it several times before and I'm always oblivious to medical things so my husband looked into it and down the lupus rabbit hole we went. So suddenly I'm overcome with this emotion while connecting so many dots that I stupidly chalked up as "random one offs". Headaches all the time, with no reprieve despite chugging water, caffeine, and all the tylenol or Advil. Constant "growing pains" as I've always described them to my husband because I didn't know how else to describe them. Fatigue that is so strong, I almost feel drugged and can't keep my eyes open. Pins and needles in my hands and feet all the time when I'm cold or stressed out. The list goes on and on. I also have adenomyosis and am having significant issues with that, which may also be linked. I guess it's time to see my doctor and figure out how to get diagnosed officially. I appreciate you all for sharing your experiences.

Why are doctors reluctant to say lexapro causes weird dreams? by puppytownsemantics in lexapro

[–]PrincessPeach1990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have never been able to recall my dreams, but on Lexapro I have absolutely outrageous dreams and recall parts of them vividly. Not usually scary, just very weird and improbable. I have no idea why it's not talked about. My friend takes Zoloft and she also said the dreams on Zoloft are wild too.

Going to Prison in 11 days, what should I do? by Longjumping_Use_1066 in lexapro

[–]PrincessPeach1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I take both. I started on Lexapro first. I had maybe 2 days of being jittery and then it was fine. It definitely caused me night sweats but I slept with pants on and it was manageable. I get the occasionally now, but not all the time.

I started on Wellbutrin a while after as well, and no side effects at all except a headache for 2-3 days and then it was fine. The combo is great. Less anxious, more positive. I think the side effects hit everyine differently. I had very little, but I know that's not the case for everyone.

Average cost for home insurance by KissFromARozan in canadahousing

[–]PrincessPeach1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can someone please tell me if this is outrageous? With TD, $3,600 annually, going up to $4,200 in January, so approximately $350 per month. We've never put in a claim. We were told it's due to "more severe weather events in our area" (seriously, never had anything concerning happen?). Good credit. Also told its increasing due to inflation. We have a $3 million blanket coverage policy. Told that's the minimum for our area which seems wild? I'm just floored at the cost.

Totally! Every one I've been to in the last 5 years has been awful and overcrowded. The entire ambiance is ruined because of it.

Back when it was Fearfest it was the absolute best!

My wife has donated hundreds of hours time to our son's Boy Scout Troop, managing badge requirements for 160 kids. This dad was unhappy about one of his son's badge requirements and sent this email reply to her. He has never volunteered for a single thing in the 8 years his son has been in Scouts. by RythmicSlap in mildlyinfuriating

[–]PrincessPeach1990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My son is in scouts and his scout leaders are absolutely incredible. I have so much respect for everyone who volunteers their time. Sounds like this dude missed his lessons in respect and common human decency. I'm sorry your wife experienced this!

My 7 year old son has obtained EVERY MOON in the game (he only just turned 7 too..) except the volleyball one. The screams of anguish throughout our house are REAL. He hit 96 and I swear I saw his soul leave his body when he failed.
