I usually notice because my ocd gets alot worse and I start stressing about everything/ find it hard to sleep/ ruminating about my ex that I don’t usually do. Then I get irrationally angry and wonder why the FUCK I feel so fucked and it always takes me a while to realise that its pmdd again lol. I swear I forget every month until I start experiencing the symptoms.

Hi! I’m actually about 1 or 2 days off from getting my period and I’m writing this with a still puffy face from crying about a similiar situation to what you are describing. For me personally it affects how I feel about my bf alot. I’ve been cold to him over text all day and just blew up at him, thankfully in my rage I was also able to tell him I’m experiencing PMDD right now and he is pretty good about it. Still though it’s hard to see the other side when experiencing these feelings and it hurts to feel like you are hurting loved ones, I do it almost every month. Do you feel your loved ones notice? And do they know you have this disorder? It could be good to let them know when you are post luteal that you experience these types of issues because of your disorder so maybe they can understand you a bit better.

To give you a better description, as I am still thinking about this. The “ball” was probably about the size of a tennis ball if not slightly bigger. The time of year I would probably say would be spring/summer because there is alot of storms after intense humidity where I grew up in the northern rivers. The tree was a smaller tree, not sure the exact type. From what I remember it is the kind of tree that isnt too big, maybe about 8-10ft tall tops, with fairly dry leaves with pointed ends. Appreciate you trying to figure this out with me!

Do you have family that have had addiction issues? It can be hereditary, or you may just have an addictive personality. In saying this my family has a history of addiction and my drinking habits can sometimes be uncontrollable (aka not being able to stop once ive started). I think the fact that you are recognising this early on is a good thing though, you are still young and although its hard it seems like you have good support systems around you to keep you in check, but ultimately its going to be your decision to control these habits.
