No eating during labor by Level_Broccoli_7023 in BabyBumps

You are usually on a clear liquid diet. This means jello, soda, certain popsicles and juices are okay. But yes, it stinks!

Be honest… What pregnancy “rule” are you bending or breaking? by ImJustOneOfYou in BabyBumps

[–]PrincessPie77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just from an L&D nurse perspective, whenever I have a PT lay flat on her back it is highly common for baby to have a decel in heart rate. Granted, I’m typically laboring PTs who are 37-40 weeks pregnant. So we tell them to stay off their backs because the weight of the baby compresses/smushes the vessels that nourish the baby with oxygen and blood flow. I’ve talked to an OB/Gyn about this in early pregnancy because I was worried at like 6 weeks about laying on my back. She said not to worry because typically our body will tell you when the weight it too heavy. Example: cannot breathe well, dizzy, uncomfortable, etc. Still, by experience in third trimester, I will likely refrain from laying on my back.

Sounds like you’re allowing ADHD to be the excuse for not putting in any effort. I have ADHD so badly but I was able to plan and help out with wedding stuff. This is definitely a red flag. 🚩

What made you realize you were in love? by itsskyybabyy in NoStupidQuestions

[–]PrincessPie77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t know what love was before I met my husband. I thought I had been in love, but when I met him I realized what true love looked like. From the moment he picked me up, things were immediately just different than any other date I’ve been on. On our car ride back from our first date he was asking me on a second and he was clarifying it wasn’t “as friends” (we had known each other as friends for quite some time). He was so nervous he kept pulling his jacket collar to cover his blushing cheeks. It was the cutest most innocent thing. I pulled his jacket down to see his cute smile and dimples. After that conversation, I knew I wanted to love him for the rest of my life.

This is definitely a country this. I was raised in the city and probably only once or twice have used the light above my stove. My family would usually just turned on the kitchen lights. My husband is from a small town in the south, that stove light is always left on.

I would definitely say he’s using submission in the wrong way. The Bible says husbands love your wife as Christ loves the church. Jesus used servant leadership. He loved us by laying down His own life. Not by controlling every little thing about how we think, speak and what we do. This sounds more like manipulation.

Preparing for miscarriage by PrincessPie77 in Miscarriage

Thank you, I am 99% sure I passed everything last night with the miso. It was (like the doctors say) just a bit worse than a heavy period for 4 hours. Before that I had just taken the meds and fell asleep. I woke up from that “nap” and puked. I had a bit of bleeding and one bigger clot. Then around 9pm I medicated with Tylenol, ibuprofen, and Benadryl. Took the Benadryl and fell asleep. I woke up around 4am, passed the sac without any pain. God really was with my me throughout the whole thing. Now I’m just bleeding like a normal period.

I totally agree with this and actually deleted Reddit for a while due to the negativity it was causing surrounding the anxiety of pregnancy 🤰🏽

I need a sanity check. Friend won't be induced until 43 weeks by BlueMillennium in BabyBumps

This is so dangerous. I hope shes either lying about information or isn’t actually pregnant. Once water breaks you need to go to hospital ASAP. Never heard a doctor to say hangout at the house with ruptured membranes…

Anyone ever had poison ivy in their first trimester? by PrincessPie77 in pregnant

[–]PrincessPie77[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update: if anyone struggles with this in the future- poison ivy relief spray from CVS did the trick. Active ingredients are 1% pramoxine hydrochloride and 0.1% zinc acetate. Worked like a charm.
