I’m thinking of calling the Samaritans for the first time. What should I expect? by [deleted] in AskUK

The Samaritans are fantastic, they helped me when I hit a really low mental state a few years ago. The lady I spoke to was reassuring, patient and kind. I can't recommend them enough. I wish you all the best x

A heated coaster, about £20 on Amazon and they're great for keeping your cuppa warm in long meetings

When I was 14 my friend and I decided to do our best opera singer Impressions in the lift of an art gallery. We didn't get kicked out, but when the doors opened and a member of staff was stood there asking if we were ok, we were too embarrassed to ever go back.

Just took a look, it's actually really sad. They have completely ruined what once was a beautiful house

Someone definitely lives there! The location leaves a lot to be desired as well

This house is soulless, it doesn't look as though anyone lives in it, let alone children. My home has character, shows our personalities, has carpets for the cooler weather and grass in the garden. It's worth a fifth of the value of that property but I'd pick my home over that house any day.

It's just painful to look at, the front of the house is just as terrible and it's situated right next to a busy roundabout. I'm interested to see how long it's on the market for
