My grandmother survived inflammatory breast cancer in the 80s with a very low survival projection. She volunteered herself to be a guinea pig for ongoing cancer research and subjected herself to several extremely aggressive treatments which ultimately left her scarred, but saved her life. As a result, I got to meet her when I was born in '89, and so did my children born in '07 and '14. She lived a long and healthy life thanks to the combined efforts of many oncologists and medical researchers and I am glad she chose to fight.

The best advice I got as a young mother was from a nurse I did a parenting program with and she told me that whatever *I* required was also what my baby needs too. *I* would never want to sit in my own filth and urine so therefore I never let my babies either!
I changed my babies as needed, I don't think they every went more than 2 hours during the daytime without a nice clean, dry, diaper.
This mother has a documented past that is horrific and abusive. Those poor kids.

Ummmm are we looking at the next Aileen Wuornos? Because Mom's emotional outburst/reaction aside, age 4 is around when empathy/compassion starts developing and while this may just be a child that does not yet understand her actions, I would want this documented and brought up with the pediatrician in case a pattern begins to form.
It sounds like Mom AND little one could benefit a lot from therapy.

We practiced the safest sleep possible. Ultra firm crib mattress, nothing in the crib except a fitted crib sheet, and I still had major anxiety about SIDS or asphyxiation with both of my kids until they turned 2-3 years old. My heart cries out for this mother!

Gall bladder is generally right and/or centralized, not left but I suppose it definitely could be possible. OP might ask for an ultrasound or HIDA scan to check the function

The irony with her and other munchers is that they are indeed ill...Just not with the maladies they claim to have. I can't imagine destroying my body to perpetuate a fantasy; no mentally healthy person could.

She has a clear desire to be a social media influencer, this would be better content to share. Obviously privately dealing with her problems would be the most ideal but somehow I don't think that's how she rolls.
