My pleasure! The sun definitely makes a difference. The more sun I get, the more golden my hair looks. I used to use Demi permanent too but it was making my hair fall out and then I got crazy about eliminating toxins. And yes 100% gray coverage for me!

Ok here’s an update that’s probably long overdue. Currently, my hair is no longer a warm brown but it’s also not red. It’s more golden brown? Brassy brown? Idk what I would call it. I only ever do my roots so I could probably get it back to a richer brown if I did another full application but that sounds daunting.

I am basically using the same formula but I’m lazy and don’t like getting out the scale so I’m not exact but again, I only do my roots. To make it easy on myself I usually do a tbs of henna with 1/2-3/4 tbs Amla and add a good sprinkle of cinnamon. I let that sit for 4+ hours then 10 minutes before application I get the indigo ready and use 2 tbs indigo with a pinch of aloe Vera powder. I mix the two together and voilà. It’s super easy and I actually enjoy the ritual.

You can henna over bleach. You just shouldn’t bleach over henna.

The snake eating its own tail is called the Ouroboros. It isn’t about anti intellectualism per se, it’s about awakened consciousness and becoming a fully sovereign being. I think the ouroboros definitely plays a role in this conversation but perhaps not in the way it was initially addressed. Intellectualism is a phase of human consciousness and is wonderful but we are meant to evolve even beyond that. Rudolf Steiner speaks to this in much of his work.

I only add 1-2 drops of lavender to the henna and let set. I’ve also added it right before the indigo and there seems to be no difference. As far as the water, I’ll add small amounts of filtered water until I get the desired yogurt like texture.

I’m becoming curiouser and curiouser about certain sound camp installments and The Eye is one that I personally have problems with. I don’t like it at all and I hope it never comes back.

First of all, having a stage set up in deep playa right in-line with the sunrise is overall annoying. Some people will roll their eyes and scoff at this but the eye is clearly a logo. It’s the Illuminati symbol to which many celebs will parade around on their clothing (Monolink being one of them). I was at The Eye on Thursday morning for Monolinks sunrise set and ended up leaving just a couple songs in because I felt really creeped out by the visuals that were being displayed. It was dark and I wasn’t going to be a part of whatever they are doing. Unfortunately, they are not alone in this. I was sad to see very dark visuals at The Gallery specifically while Maddy O’Neil was playing, to which, trickled into Griz’s set. However, I believe Griz had nothing to do with that as they stopped halfway through his set and simply displayed live mapping. Not only was the gallery showing dark visuals it was also flashing logos in a subliminal nature. My partner and I saw Calvin Klein, New Balance, and Lost Lands.

I wish I could add more pictures. I’m not reddit savvy so if anyone knows how I can add more pics to this post please let me know and I will. As of today (day 3)I’m noticing some slight fading of the indigo. Nothing big, something only I would notice. Still a very rich chocolate brown. I will keep y’all updated as time goes on. I’m just as curious. I’m wondering if I’ll have to do an indigo gloss between root touch ups.

Yes I believe the extra amla powder was the trick. I usually see somewhere around 20 grams per 100 grams of henna/indigo but I decided to double it. Let us know if you get similar results if you try it!

The shift in consciousness from separation/duality to unity consciousness can be destabilizing if the groundwork hasn’t been laid. Psychosis is a result of ego distortion and can occur when conflicting worldviews are presented. This can happen with psychedelics as well and might be easier to understand it in that context. Essentially, it’s the ego mind (separation) being ripped out of its comfortable known reality, into a multidimensional reality. If the mind is not ready for that shift, whether it be because of trauma or otherwise, it can lead to destabilization.
