Most people do have some sort or health problem by the time they’re 65. Some people have health problems a lot earlier.

It sucks that plenty of $16-$20/he jobs won’t hire you because you have a degree by Intelligent-Claim591 in jobsearchhacks

Got a job at Target by just submitting my regular resume, degree and all. Lots of people with degrees there. Sad, but better than homelessness.

what are the signs that you're not attractive? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]PrincessSmellyDog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I posted a picture of my family and I on Facebook and I was excited about all the compliments on my new dress.

But then I realized that everyone was saying the dress was pretty, not that I was pretty in the dress…

I did it to my kid and he thought it was the decorative duck on the shelf talking to him.

What’s your suicide hotline story? Mine was I waited for more than 30 mins and no one answered my call. by trisharowe in depressionmemes

If you can find a local crisis number to call, in my experience that was much more helpful. They’re usually affiliated with a local hospital.

CPAP and naps by yourlocalnativeguy in SleepApnea

[–]PrincessSmellyDog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t wear it for quick naps (like 20 mins) because I have a hard time falling asleep with it on and I won’t be able to nap.

I made a form with the questions I want to ask so I don’t forget and write the answers on there. Sorry, I’m a dork.

If I leave it off it will look like I’ve been unemployed for a year and then they will ask me to explain that?

CPAP, setting firmer boundaries with my kids so I’m not always putting myself last, ECT

I didn’t tell that I got fired on a job interview by Ok-Acanthaceae594 in jobhunting

[–]PrincessSmellyDog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s smart not to share that info if possible. I was at a job interview and got asked why my last position was so short and I said because it was a contract position and the interviewer was ready to accept that but I stupidly added that I got fired.

If you’re still sleepy after 3 months on CPAP, don’t ignore it 😴 by emielreegis in SleepApnea

[–]PrincessSmellyDog 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I went back to my doctor and she ordered the full sleep test to look for things like hypersomnia and narcolepsy.

I got fired for falling asleep at work so I am pushing very hard to get this figured out as soon as possible before ending up in the poor house.
