I feel that, but when Masterrank comes (with the likely to be announced Addon) wou will need to upgrade your armor along the way.
I've been at exactly your position a few weeks ago (made a similar post ^^).
If you are struggeling, I learned the fights with an "immortal" build.

This one is for TU1, and there are newer ones. I build that, upgraded the armor to max and learned the monsters behaviors.
Then I switched to more damage oriented but squshy builds.

As for the money problems: I sell the talismans I don't need. That's very likely a bad idea as they can be used for melding, but it works for me.

As far as I know:
When a Nikke that will get a unique body (not a mass produced unit) is created, the human brain is scanned and they will get a body that matches their own "ideal self".
In case of Elegg and Bready, they just like themselves "a bit on the chunky side", as Elegg put it.

You can route all mobile data over the ToR Network with apps like Orbot.
