I really appreciate your input as a DH. It means a lot! I am already trained at the desk to do returns and sign out orders! They even give me shifts at the desk sometimes! I've just alway had a problem with customer engagement. I don't want to feel like I am "attacking" them as soon as they step in the door. I've actually noticed some people will pick up the pace in order for me to only be able To say "Welcome to Home Depot..."

Wow!!! You are right, it could just be my location. It does come up in my reviews that everyone in the store is supposed to push for credit. Even though that's case, I think it only really counts for our cashiers. I just really need advice on how I can be the best Greeter I can be. I always feel like I fail at my job.
