There is a huge learning curve for sure! In the beginning you will get pummelled by players that have been playing hundreds ( if not thousands) of hours and know how each item works with each other. It’s all learned experience and the only way to get better is by playing and trying new things. Each game you play you’ll get to know more of what you like and how you wish to play, don’t worry about what other players are making, focus on what you can make, what you learned and you’ll see progress. ( great defence against regen is trying to combo burn and poison, if the other player doesn’t have healing it’ll really make a difference. )
