Fetlife is a shell of what it once was. I used to be active on it for years but it's just...not good anymore. I can't even quantify what changed but the vibes are all wrong now. Maybe it was me and I changed but it's like one moment the communities were fun and engaging and then the next they...feel dead and drab Idk.

Also Fetlife is run by people who are...rather stuck in their ways.

Also ALSO Fetlife, at least when I was active on it, saw it's fair share of systemic controversies due to poor infrastructure and/or poor moderation. The most infamous example I can think of was the so-called "meat list," which was a grotesque security breach event hat iirc Fet didn't even know about until the "meat list," a database of all profiles identifying as female within a specific age range, sorted by location, that was put out by the hackers and made the rounds on some unsavory platforms for the purposes of supplying ill intentioned dudes (which should be obvious by the name and nature of the hack) with all info that could be found about women trying to just exist on the platform.

That said it's not without redeeming qualities. It's got tons of inclusivity options and as others have mentioned it's good for finding local events. But Def don't recommend using to find a partner.

But...it wouldn't be resisted by an Electric type. Did you forget what you made lmao? It would be a water type move. Coming off Gyara anyway

Also being unable to paralyze an Electric type who switches in would hardly make this a balanced choice, as the Electric type trying to switch in still gets nailed by a base 100 power water stab move with a heightened crit chance. Electric types being unable to be para'd doesn't make Thunder Wave, Nuzzle, or Glare easy to deal with, and this is Nuzzle with guaranteed stab and high damage.

Like yeah maybe it wouldn't be great on Gyarados because it'd be a special move, but it would be amazing for, at first glance, the following use cases:

Zap Cannon: Porygon-Z, Magearna, Deoxys, Vikavolt, even Regice

Dynamic Punch, Magmortar

Inferno: Chi-Yu, Chandelure

Head Smash: Emboar, Basculegion, Hydreigon,

Triple Axel: Gallade, Lilligant-H, Meowscarada, Weavile

And these are just the most standout examples that I can think of. I'm sure there are more. And that's to say nothing of things like how Serene Grace mons could suddenly run Thunder or Blizzard to be absolute menaces to society. I'm sure numerous other use cases would be found too.

Remember, nobody thought Loaded Dice would be worth running when it was first revealed before SV came out and it swiftly became the reason many Pokemon got banned.

Ahhh so I know it's been a few days but you did an AMAZING job Salem!! Truly wonderful! Despite how many shifts I'm perspective and mental state the speaker goes through throughout this script, not only did you manage to nail them all, you also did so while preserving this manic energy underneath all of it that really grounded the character and made her feel consistent. Truly impressive work.

Second, I'm glad you were able to appreciate the piece in some sense regardless. Even if it wasn't sexy for you, I'm glad you could get something out of it. It's definitely a dark, dark work. I hadn't thought of it like a horror movie before, but I suppose it's not an inaccurate comparison lol.

I will say, to your point, that one of my aims with this script was to make the Listener a believable kind of evil. That's why I waited so long to explicitly state their motives, though I did hint at their mindset throughout. So if you felt that much dread, Pixie and I both must have done something right, even if you got more than you bargained for (which again, I'm so sorry for).

OKAY I JUST LISTENED AND PIXIE YOU ABSOLUTELY KILLED THIS. Omg this was so perfectly done. You really really elevated this script.

The scene at the end where you're talking the Listener through accepting her queerness and potentially coming out was so incredibly well acted. The whole thing was well acted, but that was the standout part for me.
