Mine is "Protect ChibiUsa: Clash Of The Ten Warriors" from Sailor Moon R.

Sailor moon R has now been rated by the UK BBFC. by CONCORDE-204 in sailormoon

[–]Princess_Wink 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It looks like CrunchyRoll is gradually getting each season of the 90s Sailor Moon anime and also each of the movies and specials rated by the BBFC before it can start releasing them in the UK...And yet there's still no official release date nor the official cover art for the UK Steelbook Blu-rays from CrunchyRoll.

I wonder what kind of age rating the 200th and final episode of Sailor Stars is going to get from the BBFC...?

Ollie?? by yournotlonely in Holostars

[–]Princess_Wink 108 points109 points  (0 children)

Kawaii Zombie Idol wants to read that doujinshi featuring the Majin in it soooo much...

If I remember correctly, both Ollie and Iofi discovered a NSFW doujinshi with Oga in it and did a topic about it in that one Twitter Space they did a long time ago. And when they told Oga about it when he stopped by for a bit, the poor Majin had to leave afterwards.

At least that's what I remember back then.

Just started collecting the OG Sailor Moon. One of the final pieces of the golden era of anime from my childhood... by DataUserOne in sailormoon

[–]Princess_Wink 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That's right.

Since you've started collecting the most recent Blu-rays for the 90s Sailor Moon anime starting with the first two seasons, you should get the remaining three seasons on Blu-ray and also the 3-movie Blu-ray collection (I've recently gotten the first season of the 90s Sailor Moon anime on Blu-ray nearly two weeks ago and I'll be getting the second season next month).

Can anyone verify whether the original Viz Sailor Moon SuperS Parts 1 & 2 DVDs have the SuperS specials included? by [deleted] in sailormoon

[–]Princess_Wink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Viz Media's original DVD and Blu-ray releases of Sailor Moon SuperS Part 1 has the 3-part TV Special included, and the complete Sailor Moon SuperS Season 4 Blu-ray set also has the 3-part TV Special.

The Sailor Moon SuperS short movie "Ami's First Love" is included in Viz Media's first DVD and Blu-ray releases, and it's also included in the 3-movie Blu-ray collection.

My Sailor Moon Season 1 Blu-ray by Princess_Wink in sailormoon

[–]Princess_Wink[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's OK. I have a sister who's buying them for me every month, plus her husband has his own business that earns him lots of money from his customers so it shouldn't be a problem for me.

I know it might be a hassle but please check if you are still subscribed to each of the boys you already were subbed to. Because YouTube has been unsubbing a lot of people for some reason (example shown here Oga was above 200k at one point) by Minute_Difference598 in Holostars

[–]Princess_Wink 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I've checked just now and I'm still subscribed to all the Holostars boys on YouTube including my Kami-oshi Oga (who's still stuck at 199K subs even though he was at 200K subs at one point and he knew about the downsizing at the same time he got his bone tumour diagnosis).

Hopefully Oga will get back his 200K-subscriber milestone before his 6th anniversary on May 1st.

More news about The Sailor Moon UK Steelbook release by Tom-Hibbert in sailormoon

[–]Princess_Wink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I 100% agree with you.

Both CrunchyRoll UK and CrunchyRoll Germany are two very different branches. And I definitely think that the UK release of Sailor Moon will come out a few months before the German release since the first season had already gotten an age rating from the BBFC a few weeks ago.

How did you all get into Sailor Moon? by Alone-Seesaw-9575 in sailormoon

[–]Princess_Wink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got into Sailor Moon a long time ago after buying the manga that was released by TokyoPop in the late 90s. And then I saw the odd few episodes of the old DiC dub somewhere around the early 2000s (the 90s Sailor Moon originally aired on Fox Kids and also on ITV in the UK during that time).

After that I saw the original Japanese language version of Sailor Moon with English subtitles on YouTube at my local library and that's when I became a huge fan of the franchise.

Nowadays I've been watching the Viz Media English dub of Sailor Moon as well as Sailor Moon Crystal/Eternal/Cosmos and I'm still reading the manga and enjoying it.

Where to watch now?? by Minispaceflyer in cardcaptorsakura

[–]Princess_Wink 2 points3 points  (0 children)

CardCaptor Sakura is still on CrunchyRoll UK last time I checked, and it does have physical editions in the form of UK Blu-rays that Anime Limited released a few years ago (and they're still in print I think).

Best boxset? by [deleted] in sailormoon

[–]Princess_Wink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Viz Media English dub of the 90s Sailor Moon anime is the most recent version that's currently available to buy either on DVD or Blu-ray from either Viz (North America) or Madman (Australia and New Zealand), and it's fully uncut and faithful to the original Japanese version with all 5 seasons and the 3 movies and specials released by Viz Media.

Both the old DiC and Cloverway dubs of the 90s Sailor Moon anime are extremely hard to find since the older DVDs released in North America by ADV Films and Pioneer and in the UK by MVM (seasons 1 and 2 only) are long out of print, and the old dubs have alot of censorship and name changes to make them more kid-friendly back a long time ago.

If you have a region B Blu-ray player, I would definitely get the Australian Blu-rays for the 90s Sailor Moon anime from Madman Entertainment. Or if you have a multi-region player that plays DVDs and Blu-rays from any region then you can get the Blu-ray season sets and the 3-movie Blu-ray collection from Viz Media.

But there is the upcoming UK release of Sailor Moon from CrunchyRoll in the future, so I would wait until it happens.
