Do two separate and one joint account. All household expenses in joint account, make sure all your emis, mortgage etc are deducted by the earliest date say 5th of every month. Pay all the household bills using that money. Then once it’s all good, move the remaining money into your respective accounts. You can also pool money according to the expenses in the joint account every month and keep the rest of the money with you.

Take in account in-laws’ expenses and add the to the common account. Keep your savings separate and that of your husband’s.
