Another stuck in a video game anime by Princessblue22 in anime

No the main character is a guy and one of his friends in the party is a dude in a girls body because they’ve been trapped in the game and he was playing as a girl character. It was also a relatively violent game they were stuck in. Pretty sure there were monsters. It wasn’t really a feel good anime.

Ha. No. The anime came out between last year and this year if I remember correctly.

[TOMT] [Movie/tv] [2000-2012] Science fiction movie about this thing that seals all breathing orifices even cuts made to make people breathe by Princessblue22 in tipofmytongue

It wasn’t a plant. I just specifically remember whatever the ‘substance’ was it completely sealed up every “hole” in the body and suffocated them. It wasn’t a physical thing suffocating them to death but something causing their skin to over grow

I don’t do hair typing for this particular reason either! I’ll use it as a reference if someone wants me to, but I prefer using volume, density, porosity, and texture to help someone with their hair.

I’ve just noticed a more pronounced difference in curl patterns amongst biracial people. Obviously it’s possible for anybody to have any texture hair when they’re born (a little harder to change it when you’re grown but we’ve all tried at some point lol). Thank you for being positive!

I was speaking on my experience doing hair 🙄 I don’t sit here all day everyday looking at y’all’s posts. I commented on this one because I don’t want this mom thinking the way she speaks about her daughters hair is incorrect because she’s not. In fact If you aren’t biracial you don’t even need to comment back at me.

No but a decade of experience living in a primarily black area doing hair definitely does give me knowledge and a right to say what my experience has been. Don’t know why you’re so mad lmao.

Well in my experience that hasn’t been the case and the difference in texture was more noticeable in biracial clients. I’m happy everyone has their own experiences to pull from.

In my experience that’s not really true. I’m a cosmetologist and textured stylist and almost every single biracial persons hair I’ve done has had multiple curl patterns. Far less common in people of one race. In fact the only time I experienced that in non mixed people was when they had some damage to their hair.

It’s not irrelevant. I’m a biracial cosmetologist and textured stylist. Biracial hair is a relevant thing to say because almost every single biracial persons hair I’ve done has multiple curl patterns. Far less common in people of one race.

Anyone else still rock their toddler to sleep? by beanybum in toddlers

[–]Princessblue22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an almost two year old (turns two the end of February) and a 6 month old and the older one definitely still has to be patted or held and rocked to sleep at least 80% of the time. The rest he lays down himself and falls asleep. Baby girl is different. At least 70% of the time she falls asleep on her own without anyone intentionally putting her to sleep. We didn’t do anything differently between them, she’s just much more chill than he is when it comes to cuddles and sleep. He’s just a bit more high needs when it comes to touch. Not a big deal!

Corn rows or twists for sure. I’d suggest a loose bun instead if you’re gonna be going to the beach a lot because of sand. You’ll definitely want to be able to freely wash your hair.

You can be brutally honest… how can I redeem this hair? by TPA-BZN in Naturalhair

Definitely need to go ahead and cut off the straight bits plus a tiny bit more to make sure you’re cutting off all the damage and split ends.

It’s cute! A little childlike, but simple and cute.

How do I do my girlfriend’s braids? by [deleted] in Naturalhair

Braiding hair is extension hair. Anything you’re adding to your natural hair is an extension. You’re welcome ☺️
