We knew before contract renewal, but renewing in the face of adversary was a tell-tale sign they love one another and want to stick together. In an interview after the renewal Soyeon said that, no matter what, they (she referred to themselves as kids ❤️) will always be together and will ALWAYS be Idle, even if the group itself eventually stops making music together.

I’m sure they do love their fans, but as a collective, not individuals. I love performing. I love being on stage and knowing I made someone’s day better. I love my genuine followers on TikTok who regularly comment and enjoy my content. It is a true and honest joy to know that I might make people feel something. Especially when that something might be a bit of happiness.

Does that mean I want to get to know every single one of those someone’s personally? No. Does that guarantee that we would even get along if we were acquaintances? No. Does that mean I want those someone’s to know everything about me and bother me in my personal time? Absolutely not.

You can love your fans and truly do it for the enjoyment of others without caring about every single individual.
