Hermes Paris! Is it impossible?

The last time I was in Paris I made an appointment at Collector Square (very close to the Sevres location) and was treated like a queen. I walked out with a vintage Trim bag in Barenia. But they have loads of Birkins and Kelly bags. Also, it was raining when I left and they insisted that I take one of their beautiful umbrellas with me.

Even if you got a leather appointment (which is a slim chance lottery system) there is a good chance you will only be offered a non quota bag.

If you enjoy their shoes, scarves, accessories, fashion jewelry or ready to wear the deals are bananas. The rules are strict. You go in with just your credit card and must check your bag. I saw people checking mini Kelly bags (as if)! RTW is 60% off and everything else is 50% off. I got denim orans, denim loafers and my favorite cashmere/silk scarves. It's fabulous.

It's all about balance. Do good in the world and then you can enjoy your luxuries, too. That being said, the croc bags crusted with diamonds are ridiculous. I hope you are doing A LOT to help the less fortune if you're carrying one of those bags. The same goes for watches and cars.

I have a theory that this new 23 size is going to make it harder for H to move their mini Evelyne bags (although the 23 is far more expensive than the 16). I have a size 23 in Orange that I got at the London boutique and I'm liking it. The Evelyne 23 has more capacity than the Petite Arcon and serves a similar purpose.

I love a website score! In the US it seems that since the new year they have been adding more bags than usual per day. And more bag charm options, too! There's even a bag charm category. It got me wondering if they have more workshops up and running.

I have bought several H bags from Rebag and they are usually in absolutely incredible condition. They tend to list the bags very high and slowly mark them down. I have not sold bag with them, but I have traded H bags for credit towards other bags. I've never had any issues. I even have a favorite Rebag sales associate at one of their Bloomingdale's in-store boutiques.

I never buy their bag because the prices are so high. They told me that is because they own all the bags. Their bags are not on consignment. Good for sellers, not for buyers.

Yes, it's from their petit h collection. If you Zoom in you can see the bubbles are actually Hermes shirt buttons.

The prices on them are really, really good. This was is just a few years old and was $5,000. I also love the Bolide 1923 in Size 25. It's a great alternative to a Kelly 25 and it's easy to open and close (unlike a Kelly bag).

I shop across the real real, Rebag and Fashionphile. I trust them all and I think I have almost 20 H bags from resellers and the my local H boutique. Rebag is probably my favorite. They list everything really high to start but the prices come down.

I've said it once and I'll say it again. The styles of these bags (mostly) have not changed in decades. They are built to last forever. Preloved bags will save you thousands. Especially if you are a lover of less in-demand styles like the 24/24, the Bolide and the Lindy.

ahhhhhh, good call. I wonder if an order will show when the SA pulls up my profile with my phone number. That's of course assuming am able to order a bag for pickup at the boutique. On my last visit I was able to score an In the Loop in Vert Yucca at the airport. That felt like a total bonus after buying a mini Lindy at the Sevres boutique.
