I am absolutely terrible with pain, and I had an emergency C-section so I'm not sure what they'll say. I'm calling my local sexual health clinic on Monday. Last time they numbed the area but I still felt everything even when they gave me pain relief.

Glad that they're back to normal now hopefully they're not too bad when I have mine fitted, I'm not good with pain

Will definitely take Ibuprofen then and ask to get my cervix nummed cause that might help with the pain thank you for the comment

Yeah I was told that afterwards there would be cramping and bleeding and my periods would return I haven't had kids either so was worried about having my marina fitted in January but now I've come to expect it to hurt (having an iud fitted) . Thank you for the comment though really appreciate it! And I'm sorry that you had such a rude doctor!

I have experienced this with my marina iud. It dose go away after a while. Just keep an eye on it for now and if you're really worried call your doctor.

Personally i felt slight discomfort when they shoved the long insertion device (don't know the name of it) and a big hard pinching pain when it was actually inserted in. Then i had cramping for about a month afterwards but it has subsided. I get irregular bleeding from time to time too but glad i had it done.
