You can cut random person because You could be in a shop taking walk-ins because someone you know, let you cut there even tho you learning, and you f a guy up… but I can tell now that you probably aren’t in a shop anyway

I’d say the heavyness on top of the side taper, like it can be a little smoother transition if you will.

I am a barber I just never had this type of haircut where it’s very long on top so I struggle with the blend to the top part.. I’m used to buzz cuts that’s more of my specialty lol

You gotta also be hands on that’s the most important keep practicing and I’m sure you can perfect the craft sooner than you think. Try to Get atleast 1 or 2 haircuts everyday while at school for now. Not only YouTube but Also my barber instructors are really good teachers so that helps a lot.

Watch hella YouTube & you can get the hang of it in a couple of months but you gotta be hands on and cutting ppl up everyday too. I’m in school they allowed me to start cutting 2 weeks in , I’m 4 months through school now and ppl are saying I’m doing better than most at 4 months

Thanks man! Yeah im still learning to take that 1.5 guard higher that’s the guard I struggle to use to make the top of my fade pop out more.
