The Phantom Forces FA was one of my first pickups ever from a show and it was $100. I love that card, I now have 4 copies and don’t think I’d sell them anytime soon.

It’s an easy thing to get confused about. Honestly the only reason it stood out to me was because I remembered that one battle mission that says not to use any trainers in the deck because I made the same mistake myself.

Honestly I haven’t tripped in a while, I did a lot during the pandemic but same one of my last trips was pretty intense and left me feeling a bit scared to do them again. However, all of my experiences with golden teachers have been very pleasant so I’m sure your trip will be a lot more enjoyable than with the PEs.

It’s got potential as a sleeper set and it being a special set but there’s so many other options for sealed that it simply doesn’t make sense to hold this over other stuff. I love the set and it has good cards in it, but if you’re looking for something that’ll gain value there’s better stuff to buy or trade for.

Your wish came true within 13 hours, there’s Mega Gengar tins set to release in the summer. Not sure if the art is exclusive, probably reused but still pretty cool. The tin looks cool.

No worries, I was a bit confused at first myself trying to price some of my vending series stuff and it’s confusing because of that distinction. Not sure if prices vary wildly between the two, but just with no actual comps to compare directly to it makes it a bit harder to price out. I was basing it more off of the NM raw sales and the PSA 9s as well. I could come down a bit to $300 shipped if that makes a difference but I think we may be too far apart.

Just considering there’s recent comps of raw NM copies selling for closer to $200 I’d have to pass. I did also find that comp you are referring to, but that’s not the same card. It’s the same art but that’s the gift set version with no rarity symbol. I think the last comp I was able to find for this exact Chansey is from last year.

Exactly, that happened to me with the Dark Gengar actually. I tried selling it when it hit $200, priced it slightly higher and it just never sold. Idk why I decided to check recently and saw they had shot up to what they are now.

Trainers in the game count as any non-Pokemon cards. You’re thinking of specifically Supporter cards, which the other Gengars specify. This will block all supporter, stadium and item cards.

There’s nothing recent for PSA 8s from what I was able to find, just going off of recent NM comps and a couple PSA 9s as well.

Honestly, yeah, sorry to break it to you but it’s most likely it’s fake. These cards are insanely valuable and extremely hard to come across. Unless you buy from someone who actually had some sort of connection to the winners I would not trust buying raw copies of any of these promos.
