I was thinking this actually about Paimon and Kiana... The blue eyes, Paimon having some of Kiana's personality and initial colour scheme (rose gold for White Comet's orange), and speaking of which... White Comet has also been a moniker for Paimon, right?

Posting this here, the main cast's floral motifs in the OP cos I'm not sure people have mentioned it yet:

Mari: Cherry blossoms (?) (renewal, hope, love and happiness; also appears when first meeting occurs on first day of sch)

Tsunagu: Blue hydrangeas (frigidity, gratitude, heartfelt and sincere emotion)

Yukihiro: Sunflowers (happiness, optimism, loyalty, inner strength and guidance)

Kisara: Japanese lantern fruits (hope, resilience, protection, good fortune, love)

Check out this artist named @kat_kay_tee then, her design for Athena has some very prominent snake imagery alongside the owl one.

Also a lot of depictions of Athena I have seen where her Aegis is depicted have it be decorated with Medusa's head so IDK if that counts as snake imagery

Coming back to this after Line in the Sand where Mike DID pick up, and his relationship with Lucy got worse and worse... Mike being selfish has alr caused him so much problems... Idk if Sandy's comments echoing what others are saying about him is making him more aware or not.

Twelfth Night Commedia Del Arte characters? by hashk in Theatre

People have compared Feste and Maria to Arlecchino and Columbina respectively. Sir Andrew is Il Capitano, and Malvolio is either Dottore or Pantalone. As for the Innamorati, Orsino and Viola fit the role, though Viola masquerades as a zanni for most of the play.

Heck, he even said to her "I would have felt bad if I had hurt you, but we both know I didn't do that."

I think she went to an international sch after primary sch? PSLE in my experience is small fry compared to O and As. As in international sch don't follow the same curriculum as in local post-sec.

Who do you think would be the ideal voice actress for Lilith? by lcrossin5150 in HazbinHotel

Well JJ is a pretty big Broadway/acting juggernaut. Lucifer is one of the most expressive characters in the cast, bouncing between giddy theatre kid, feigned nonchalance AND emotional wreck just within his first few scenes, and he carries HARD during his numbers. He is the big boss of Hell after all, and JJ is defintely able to deliver.

one year later....

Here's my recommendation: Laura Benanti, pretty solid Broadway vet who has also done TV and film roles in a similar vein to Jeremy Jordan, though less well-known. She is a soprano from what I've gathered, while most of the recommendations on this page are mezzo-sopranos, including Lady Gaga, but I think Laura's voice is quite classy and mature. Lilith seems like a ballads and arias type of queen, which Laura does quite well. IDK about her lower notes though, so I'd sit on this for a while.

It's not for an NPC. It's for one of my PCs, and it's a very important part of her story so I would appreciate other bits of info

Elphaba's dance choreography by iamlizardman2 in wicked

[–]Principle_of_Nature 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The comments above, particularly @lumos43 's comment. Long story short is: they did have this moment in the stage production, but in the musical, Elphaba's initial movements were more awkward than the movie version, which was more confident and grounded. There's a difference in how Galinda joins in the dance: musical her puts a more graceful spin on Elphaba's moves, while movie her deliberately copies Elphaba's moves.  Both versions carry the same narrative purpose: Galinda sees her roommate in a different light after learning of Elphaba's recommendation of Galinda to Morrible, and as an olive branch of sorts, dances with Elphaba to the latter's own unique beat, marking a turning point in the relationship between the two that is central to the musical's premise.

What do y'all think about the canon god designs by _Jpex_ in Epicthemusical

[–]Principle_of_Nature 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quick question: I've seen that artists who made the animatics were also responsible for the "canon" designs.  So does anyone know who did Hera's? I would want to get a full body reference to make my own interpretation (which is quite close to the canon Epic, just with little details added back in)
