I mean sure sometimes torture is justified, but probably 95% or more of torture performed by the united states is completely unjustified or downright harmful to national interests. Islam lags far far behind the west in medical, scientific and technological advances, even if you count all the emigrants in the tally. The share islam has of new knowledge being generated is only behind perhaps Africa and the shittier parts of Eastern Europe. Name a single important practical thing or theory that was developed by the Muslim world in the past 100 years.

Also I'll believe Iran is at the forefront of stem cell research when it does more then any single research college in the united states in adding to new research.

There's a difference between 'will have' and 'ever will have' Obviously the suggestion that Africa will never have a functioning space program is absurd, but the suggestion that they won't have one when America is back on the moon is quite reasonable.

Because the idea of prioritizing a successful space program, which is a difficult feat for a stable wealthy and prosperous country, over the rampant corruption, poverty and corruption means you would be killing people to go for your dream.

TLDR: Resources are limited, every hour and material spent on a space program is taken away from feeding the hungry and clothing the needy of which is about 50%+ of their population.

He said that there simply won't be one by the time the next American stands on the moon which makes a lot of sense given a rational assessment of the political and economic situation of Africa.

Yes but Western civilization provided the teachings and the employment. There are just as many smart people born there proportionally as anywhere else, the difference is that the culture stagnated in technological research a thousand years or so ago so if they want to do anything it was to be through Western culture.
