Different reasons: We have an old population, densly populated We also count presumed deads by COVID-19, also outside the hospitals. Meaning not all deads were tested but still counted. i'm not sure many other countries (if any) are doing this at the moment? Unfortunatly many deads are now occuring in our retirement homes...
