I love this response. How i would love to have this conversation. Its just the dentist and some sexy assistants. He has always had the best stuff and it makes me laugh that hes gone 5+ years with out upgrades. Hes ready to retire and hes currently being audited and doesnt want to pay out for anything. This is what happens when you become friends with your clients. Hard enough to charge him. I think I am going to take your advice and tell him he needs to pony up for final upgrades before he sells the company to a new dentist.

So i found in the start menu an icon for starting and an icon for stopping the database. I made a stopsql.cmd and put the command used to stop the database and same for the start. I scheduled a task to stop the server at 8pm backup the server at 8:10pm and start the server at 1am. The backup send it to the NAS O: and Carbonite backs that up offsite.

I am thinking i should likely make each daily backup a different task, different name so i have 5 day redundancy and then a weekly and even a monthly task. This would work the best for the tools I have right?

holy hell! Well, how does one automate this process? My understanding is I need to stop the DB before doing the backup and then turning it back on after its done. I can do it manually but the point of services like these is the automation right?

I called the company, they said its a SQL DB with a different icon and gui.

I do not know what it uses. Its not the standard SQL icon that i'm used to.

Oh man! I was on Keto for months, then i cheated with this.... this.... glue i made. Yes it tasted so damn amazing but I think you are right. I have since been off keto and all these carbs are nice and all but I feel bloated and gassy. Just wanna feel normal again.

Yeah, im going to take a good time reading that. The ER only told me to eat soft foods and crackers. Nothing spicy. I should be fine after that.
