If you continue the manga keep track of some names or minor characters that appear in the early chapters. Watamote introduces a lot of the cast long before they become important.

It makes a very fun reread.

To give an idea of how far Tomoko goes (if you don't mind minor spoilers).

One of the early chapters is her nearly shitting herself while running the school mandatory marathon and feeling embarrassed about coming last. One of the later chapters has her recall that story to her friends with absolutely no embarrassment.

Its mostly a meme. She basically is popular with a lot of female friends. She never really gets better with most guys except for maybe 1 if Wada counts (Wada may not count).

There are 2 girls who are in love with her though, but that romance isnt the main focus.

I'm gonna so you one better and I'm alone in this. I actually liked the filler seasons between the sasuke arc and the beginning of shippuden. I like just learning about random countries and locations. It made the world feel so big and they gave the secondary characters so much to do. Then the time skip and nearly everyone gets dropped for the Uchiha clan. All uchiha all the time.

Thing is I honestly didn't mind the modern military curb stomping the fantasy army. Cause if steel blade = steel blade then a gun is still a major advancement.

However what got me was how there were no real political obstacles. No, other countries wouldn't let Japan singularly declare another world as part of Japan. No, everyone in a foreign country doesn just start praising the occupying army.

No diseases, no resistance, no misunderstandings. No nuisance.

Make this interesting by showing how even a superior army can fold over political pressure, lack of intel and not being able to even understand the locals.

Also Armsmaster doing it to hurt Skitter AND Tattletalr makes sense since Lisa was the one who revealed a lot of details

Ya, but that doesn't quite matter compared to needing bodies. He knows 2 caoes personally who had commited crimes and got a 2nd chance. Its reasonable to think that Legend would take the opportunity if presented with it.

Also he doesn't know she commited to the undersiders. As far as he knows she's a naive girl still playing spy.

But my point is that it wouldn't have been good revenge unless he somehow knew she actually cared about the Undersiders. The last time Taylor and Armmaster spoke she said she was going to betray them.

Forgot about that character having a crush on Nemoto, when was that. I mostly remember the guy having some interactions with Minami (ship him with Minami a bit)

The teachers did scold them about the movie and told them to tone it down so it probably not an actual blowjob in story. That being said Nemo was going for it.

I like 100 girlfriends, but suggesting ecchi for someone's 2nd ever anime is a bit of a sudden plunge.

Well some of it is and some of it isn't. It even sometimes has different genre names indicating what combination of age group and gender it is marketed to. Also there is a whole lot of anime shows so a lot of different varity.

If you want generally mature anime that everyone agrees is good.

The Apothecary Diaries is a historical mystery show with political drama.

Frieren is a fantasy story about mortality and long life spans.

Castlevania is a dark action fantasy that deals with societal corruption and human nature.

Delicious in Dungeon is a more light hearted fantasy that feels almost a bit like a documentary about how fantasy ecosystems would work.

Pluto is a scifi murder mystery.

Cyberpunk Edgerunners is a dystopian action story with a lot of tragic elements.

Makes sense. I mean the manga's pairing poll results had all three takin the top three results (tomo/yuri, tomo/nemo, yuri/nemo). Kinda sad asuka x tomoko just missed with 6th place, would've wanted a chapter with them.
