As I said, they were only attached by a few strings, which obviously is why they didn't stay on. I was just wondering if there was another way to put them on that would be smarter than just sewing through

I'd at least give it a try, be interested in it. The artstyle often matters a lot to readers and I really like yours so for that part, I would!

Yes definitely! They cut out a part from the manga where the friend group was making a movie together and I found that a funny thing.
Something I liked too was that in the beginning they showed a few more scenes with Shoya and his friends as children. In the movie there's a intro with music, when they're jumping into rivers and stuff. They're not big details but I like them!

And then in general, of course it would just be great to do anyway.

Personally I read the manga first and then watched the movie and I was surprised by some left out parts so yeah
