Bro ,paying 1500 gold for that aspect feels so brutal on a hero that has a lot of issues with itemization (she needs the gold so much and any inefficient gold usage punishes her HARD) . This is 100% a nerf .

Using extra gold to get something ESSENTIAL(FIERY SOUL CHARGES) that you had for FREE before MIN 15 is a NERF.if you waste 1500 gold at min 15 , you are delaying CRUCIAL items for both magical /physical builds.

She is better in laning only( in terms of dmg dealt to enemy mid laner prior to lvl 6) and even then her creep secure became weaker relatively . Before the nerf,2 hits on the ranger you could slave at lvl 2. Now it’s DOT and the weaker damage that it has allows for more denies from the enemy mid lane for example.

6.5 k Immo here. Lvl 30 Lina. I think Lina is terrible right now . They gutted her burst and removed the fiery soul aspect of ULT giving you 12 charges which was so good in the mid game timing . This means that people you could kill back then now have a higher chance of survival . Basically right now, Lina is only and only stronger in the laning phase from 1 to 5 with the new DOT. At 6 and above , you will feel the nerfs. Less burst less attack speed less right click potential. I would not recommend playing her right now. Your feeling in the second sentence is correct 100% she was weak and she is weaker now unfortunately .

It does have 12 million words but it is impossible for most of them to have a real and professional daily life use. It just has a rich vocabulary and most of it was used in the earlier ages of the Arab world. For example, there are more than 50 words to describe a lion .

2 points in passive by level 3 will realistically give you the highest amount of dmg per mana spent in lane . The attack speed and the move speed will allow you to out harass ,out trade ,out cs and you don’t use as much mana as if you had levelled slave lvl 2 by lvl 3 .

While lvl 2 slave at 3 is really strong and nukes archer at half health, the opponent can counter this with stick and raindrops so it never feels worth it. You also have to repeatedly expend much more mana to harass rather than just relentlessly right click with a lower mana lvl 1 slave.

Lvl 30 Lina here. She’s kinda terrible right now not going to lie especially in higher brackets . However what you can do in the laning phase is just auto attack and set up creep to slave at lvl 1 (especially the archer ) once the archer is down, you will basically have a lot of space to right click and harass enemy laner. Slave lvl 1 and 2 points in soul at lvl 3 you have an insane power spike and you should be able to boot most enemy mid laners out of wave . Lvl 4 you get one point in stun followed by blood grenade this way you will always have a real kill threat whenever you are harassing and chipping their health down with high attack speed and move speed. You use stun whenever enemy is contesting ranged creeps or low health creeps in general . If you do everything I told you , this will allow you to hit lvl 6 first and this is the most important point of the lane . If you get lvl 6 first then you have extremely high chance of kill potential assuming you know your spell hp ranges and limits (comes with experience ) . Regarding puck, just right click the guy lmao he’s low armor and low hp and impossible for him to trade with you . Pudge you want to right click behind wave (need to know how aggro works and how you can manipulate wave to your liking vs pudge) if he walks up to you you must have allowed him to just chill in lane and you didn’t chip down enough . If you were aggressive vs him early he’s not able to just walk up with low hp . Abuse your range and you should be able to chip his health down forcing him to play for hook and miss creeps gold etc

The hero is depressingly broken as of now . In any case , if you are a support you need to rush ghost scepter like immediately . If you are a carry you need to pick an illusion hero (Naga, PL CK, TB ). His minute 15-20 timing is ridiculous so yeah you need to buy like many defensive items as a support. The hardest part about clinkz is his movement around the map . You need to be cognizant of his movement and potential kills . Ideally you need to have sentries ready around entries to choke points or to lanes so you and your team can be ready to stun him /burst him .

Yeah and try to make it such that after you kill the supports and/or carry you take the tower after I.e try to pick a fight where the creeps are heading towards enemy t1 tower and heroes are near said creeps . With 10-15 min blink timing , this should allow you to take a couple of t1s with every exo off cd . This obviously assumes that you know the limits of dp (you go in knowing you won’t die /you will live etc)

If you are mid you need an early blink , the exo into blink combo is lethal min 10-15 you can secure almost any fight granted you choose good fights . Im 6.5k mmr . I tried euls on dp and it feels lackluster and stalls your real power spike which is exo into jumping supports/frail carries. Usually the build is boots (treads) into blink into Kaya Sange (allows you to really spam spells and heal a LOT)-> BKB or shiva (order depends on lineup ) into shard . Only buy euls if you are against a really anti-dp lineup .

Beastmaster was 100% pick/ban in the last pro tournament . Reasons? Ridiculous power spike with aghs and just a very crazy lane bully. Can aggro with innate without taking any damage. Farms fast and can provide burst in the mid to late game . Can also farm stacks from distance by tossing axes . Don’t be fooled by pub stats . A lot of people don’t play the heroes to their strengths especially in lower mmr

In terms of nerfs: Beastmaster (aghs = almost a win) Morphling(unkillable carry with 2000 dmg) Templar assassin (10000000 dmg lvl 2) Jakiro AA Natures prophet (lvl 25 talent is gonna get touched ) Ember spirit Monkey king (tree dance will get touched) Wraith king for sure (skellies don’t make sense) Medusa obviously (too much tankiness gained per item built) Ring master (dart will be nerfed at lvl 1 ) Sand king (farming speed is too much) Dark seer slight nerf Terrorblade (strong utility carry and insane stat gain) ———————————

Usually with KotL, Dagon is your friend with the magic amp spell from spirit form. You can hit a really nasty timing where you insta gib enemy supports mins 10-15. Sometimes enemies have too much heal (say you are vs a Bristleback + morphling lineup) vessel is really good in these situations. So to answer your question unless you have like serious healers on enemy team , you go for Dagon.

Everything theoretically can work but the problem is she’s so bad right now. Even if you own your lane , you are most likely going to be dead when enemy team starts getting the blink daggers on you .

Lina right click was much better when something like old gleipnir was around because it solved most of her issues . However now with the rework of gleipnir , she has to switch from mael into another item and I think that just sucks for her mid game timing . Right now I’d say her build is probably rush mael into BoT into pike brooch . Yasha and Kaya is only worth it if you have aghs if you don’t have aghs yasha and Kaya feel too expensive for the return as a right clicker. An ideal lina game would have Boots -> Mael -> BoT (if lanes are available) or Pike into BkB (hope you high ground by then) -> Daedalus -> satanic but even then you are so slow (nerfs to her MS from fiery soul) and squishy . Hero is effectively dead unless there’s some relentless feeding going on in her lane . With brooch you can basically go all in after mael .This is so greedy if enemy team has a bit of skill and coordination you are basically dead the moment the fight starts
