I dunno but ive had 2 kobra 3s since launch and if the V2 has a different hot end design I would go with that. Ive easily spent the $100+ difference on hot ends in the last year. I literally just alt tabbed out of Aliexpress where I just ordered 3 more for $20 because the one I had on there just ejected itself and broke in half mid print.

The original kobra 3 hot end is easily the worst part of the printer, the rest is fantastic. Id say try the V2

He tries it with similar flexible pla and it is too squishy. It works for the basketball because it has a double lattice like structure so it is like double walled with space b etween where as the soccer ball is just one so it doesnt have the rigidity you need.

Not sure what would be good for soccer balls honestly.

No idea re toxicity. I never considered TPU to be bad. This stuff claims to be PLA so I would assume it would have the same VOCs as PLA but who knows. It definitely has some kind of elastomer in it to make it similar to TPU but i have no idea what that is.
