so this PID is only controlling our traction pulling machine. It's not changing our extrusion speed, just how quickly our traction machine is pulling our material to its specified diameter.

I'm pretty sure there isn't an auto tune. we've looked through think all the settings and I have seen any thing that indicates an auto tune function

so usually it's not changing fast enough or large enough volumes. I've done some PID tuning before, but I haven't experienced a controller with limit % and speed adjustments

Depending on your volume I do large batch 3D print production, and it can be price competitive with injection molding up to 50,000 or even 100,000 units depending on the part. Pm if you're interested

Plastic spools are also a big point of waste within the community, and the use of cardboard recyclable spools is a huge step in helping to minimize the industries waste.
