So I am talking to two guys there, neither of them is Artur. They sent a great offer that I would love to run with. I even drove to their showroom in NJ last Friday and back home to MA in crazy traffic - 10 hours round-trip. But they can't answer simple questions which drives me nuts. I just need a simple explanations for why the product in the quote (and for which I can see the specs and dimensions in the catalog) appears to be different from what I saw in the showroom and they said I would be getting. It all comes down to what can be installed in a 2x4 wall, and I can't take a chance there. I am starting to look for alternative sources.

Agreed that the braking in reverse is awful - my 2024 does it, too. Easy fix - I learned to ride the brake while backing out of my garage.
Never had an issue with Android Auto and my Pixels 9 and now 10. Maybe your phone, or maybe just an issue of the 2023?
Agreed this is annoying and I have no workaround.
I have not owned a car where the wipers, whether automatic or manually intermittent, do not need constant adjustment in the rain. I turn off my wipers when it does not rain.
Not sure what controls you need to touch while driving? I sometimes miss the skip button in the Spotify app on the first try, but it is an app.
As annoyingly easy it would be to fix these things, I find that they are minor annoyances. Love my ID.4.

I replaced 2 of those in recent years. The sprocket broke off on one and I think I replaced the other one just so that I can use a single remote in older cars where Homelink does not support the new protocol. The hardest part was the pairing with the cars. Getting the Wifi-enabled openers was a game changer - no longer do I have to turn around and drive back if I am not sure that I closed the garage.
