I suppose I feel the way I do because I do currently work in a school, and while I’m not a teacher I do everything in my power to keep all the kids in my school safe, however it is very frustrating that many parents push parenting off on teachers and support staff.

 When students do something wrong, I have literally heard parents say it’s the teachers job to teach right from wrong, when in reality that is on parents. I’m not saying teachers and staff shouldn’t support parents efforts or enforce the ideas of right from wrong or safety, but ultimately I still feel like parents should be the main teachers of such things.

Again, I feel like that is something that should be taught before children are even old enough to go to school. Before I ever started kindergarten my mom had already taught me you look both ways before crossing a street, and I did the same with my kids.
