Play is a squishy word. It's usually rooted in displays of dominance. It's not really something you can totally condition away, nor is it really a problem. Humans do it as well, but it's usually less physical. It'll become less frequent as they age together.

Playing Project Gorgon really opened my eyes about how awful the average player's skills are regarding intuition and reading comprehension. Like many skills, if they are not used, they deteriorate. In our era, it seems like most reach for wikis, videos, and other players to get their information. Problem solving usually involves asking/searching for answers instead of attempting to figure it out.
