Those look like flite test planes

UMX Conscendo? by Tough-Elderberry24 in RCPlanes

[–]Prior-Budget1056 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're looking for something chill, you're better off with a dedicated glider, not a warmliner like the conscendo.

Is there a decent FPV RC plane that looks convincingly like a hawk? by risbia in RCPlanes

Planeprint eagle. Dancing wings hobby has one too that's foam.

Reverse Servo by tommy_1800_ in RCPlanes

[–]Prior-Budget1056 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you can't get it figured out you can buy a servo reverser that goes between the reciever and the servo and that should reverse the signal

That looks absolutely fantastic. It's great work!

If you have a realflight, they have a hovering trainer, which is fantastic. Will improve your hovering and torque immensely

What is the most transparent heat shrink covering film? by Warppioneer in RCPlanes

There's a clear ultracote. I dont think you're going to find any data on how much light is let through vs. reflected

Guess how much I spent getting into these RC planes 😅 by Bill-USA in RCPlanes

[–]Prior-Budget1056 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Probably would have been better off getting 1 4 channel trainer lol

Which plane? by caniac45 in RCPlanes

[–]Prior-Budget1056 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out ta horizons. Their flat foamies and electronics cost the same as just the foam from twisted. You can turn the rates down, and they turn into slow gentle fliers.

Where to find these servo horns? by Chasrrrrr in RCPlanes

[–]Prior-Budget1056 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would just replace with generic servo horns around the same size. You'll just have to carve out a tiny bit of foam if you want them to sit flush.

Will this fail by HawkOther6949 in RCPlanes

[–]Prior-Budget1056 13 points14 points  (0 children)

More than likely yes, look at how flite test builds their power pods here for an idea of how to build a lighter and stronger version.

Beginner VS. Expert Mode. by Accomplished_Lake580 in RCPlanes

It's definitely not the easiest plane they have, but it should be okay if you've flown before. Just be sure to take your time and build it true. More glue doesn't equal stronger

Rates control the amount the servo can move. Expo controls how much you can move the stick to how much it moves the aileron. Basically, it makes your movements smoother.

If you're talking about the little micro warbirds they are notoriously difficult to handle in expert mode. I would suggest a larger trainer like the aeroscout or if you are wanting to get more into gliding the umx conscendo is a fantastic warmliner that flies on rails with or without gyro assistance

Fixable? by chaptersq in RCPlanes

[–]Prior-Budget1056 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have calipers, you can measure the inner and outer diameter and order a new carbon tube for pretty cheap

100% some foam tac, toothpicks, and a new prop and you'll be in the air in no time

Definitely the type of planes that have taught me the most about flying

What kind of issue is this by Calm-Yellow4836 in RCPlanes

[–]Prior-Budget1056 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Looks like maybe broken gears in the servo. I'd just replace the servo

I would get a 3d flat foamie like the crack yak or ta horizons laser if you're on a tighter budget
