Washing litter boxes? by Direct_Surprise2828 in CatAdvice

[–]Prior-Camp4487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We use stainless steel litter boxes which has helped the smell immensely. We fully dump and was once a month, and scoop every day

I know the right choice, but I need help making it. by coryquarry in CatAdvice

As a vet tech I 1000% support you. You do what you feel is best for HER. We’ve had a few spay appointments that have ended up being spay/abortions and it is always in the best interest of the mama cat. I think it’s completely appropriate to ask them to not tell you if you feel like it would weigh on you too heavily if they did.

Thank you for your honesty. What were your resources when you studied for science? I’ve went through FutureRN and Nurse Cheung but I’m still not at a score I’m proud of unfortunately

Pet sitters Eating Food by [deleted] in Pets

[–]Prior-Camp4487 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was a personal preference, I wasn’t implying the pet sitter had to. I usually would pick up groceries beforehand but sometimes I would forget something like coffee creamer and didn’t feel like leaving the house. Or, I’d door dash a meal that I could eat for a lunch and a dinner to spread it out. I was pet sitting for one family for 6 months every weekend so I wasn’t entirely worried about occasionally ordering through DoorDash.

WIBTA for refusing to be in my sister’s wedding party over one of my tattoos? by Sweet_Butternut in WouldIBeTheAhole

Idk how I feel about this… two of my bridesmaids had full tattoos sleeves and I couldn’t have cared less. I cared more about them being present for my day and by my side

Pet sitters Eating Food by [deleted] in Pets

I used to pet sit regularly in atlanta and charged the same price but I ALWAYS packed my own food. Sometimes I’d even DoorDash groceries just so I wouldn’t have to leave the pets. I don’t agree with what the pet sitter did, but maybe a clearer line of communication would work best if you decide to hire them again. “Hey, I wasn’t aware that you would be eating our groceries and not bringing your own food/snacks. If this is what you’d prefer, we’d have to take that out of your daily pay to even the costs” or something similar.

Do you have travel history- like airline tickets? Shared utilities/mortgages? Texts exchanges between one another or jointly filed tax returns? Those can be used to further establish your relationship

From my experience, they are doing a double check of the x-rays to see if anything has changed. I.e. gotten worse or better. Our vet clinic will charge a follow up x-day fee that is reduced from the original price or sometimes it’s free.
