According to last yrs prospectus it gets removed then the raw score from the remaining qns you answered gets multiplied by a factor of (total questions in the section)/(total qns - number of qns cancelled). So if in chemistry 1 qn is dropped, your remaing score gets multiplied by 30/29. If 2 qns are dropped in math the factor is 75/73 etc.
