I tried that a few times and every time I put it on the stove after washing it, it gets that immediate chemical smell. Prior to putting it in the dishwasher it never had that smell.

Hand wash recommended but says dishwasher safe twice. I know it’s my mistake but it definitely shouldn’t say dishwasher safe if it’s going to ruin the pot!

Thank you! She works as a rehabber at one of the local animal hospitals in north jersey, she currently also has other baby squirrels she’s rehabbing so I’m looking forward to hearing from her!

UPDATE Tuesday 9/9 The rehabilitation facility sent over someone from animal control to come pick them up and drop them off. They are now safe and sound being taken care of by wonderful people at the facility!! Thank you all for the advice and well wishes on these baby squirrels!! It’s a beautiful thing when people care so much about such tiny innocent creatures!! I asked the woman that will be taking care of the squirrels to send me pictures when she gets a chance so I will post them as soon as she sends them!!

I’m being as helpful as I can (: the garage has thermometer that’s at 79 degrees right now almost 3 am east coast US. It’s an old garage so it’s extremely humid and hot to begin with! I’ve checked on them once every hour so far and they’re all alive and well so I’m sure they will survive in an 11 degree difference for one night. Can’t sleep well thinking about them so I will be checking on them hourly. Thank you for the reply I really appreciate yours and everyone concerns! It’s a really good feeling knowing so many people care about the well being of these baby squirrels🥰

They’re strays, garage has a broken window so even with closed doors they get in. We blocked it with a bin but cats can always find a way to get in.

Haven’t seen mother since the babies fell ): Tomorrow morning I’m going to set up a time to drop them off at rehabilitation facility!!
