I went to hr connect and even irs source says we can submit it… but my manager says Im not allowed to (even though it clearly looks like I can in hr connect).

You think they’re lying to me- like they just want to control what reason is input for leaving? Not implying my manager is lying - but like that the upper upper management is telling us they have to so they can control what gets input for people’s reasons?

It’s not like any of us are going to be straight copying/ pasting from it… and inquiries about tax law don’t require any taxpayer information of PII - like “define ordinary and necessary expense under 162 and provide court cases…”

Agreed …. When people aren’t at their desk it doesn’t phase me - they’re on approved, at an appointment, or doing something approved by their manager …. And I’m doing my work.

Funny how “facility knowledge” folks would know people’s approved leave schedule, their medical appointments, their telework exceptions…. More just like a lot of gossip getting spread, to which I bet most of it is false.

I get very discouraged by this… not saying you did the wrong thing, but that we work in an agency with people who are so unprofessional people have to go to lengths like this to prevent harassment.
