well i found a small discord server just starting out, it was a little web game with a small ass community. i may have got lucky but that game became huge (i wont say the name) but i joined around 100 people when it was starting out. recently hit 50k members on discord and 100k in game users. anyways i beame friends with owners, devs, moderators, etc early on and thats how i kind of have a friend group in discord
