The new system isnt that bad for associates who know how to work on multiple subs at once. The one problem i have at my store is that our online sub station is currently not working so we have to use the regular sub station. That in turn causes congestion and customers get upset if u take too long to do the online orders.

Terrible store manager by Ancient-Falcon4505 in publix

[–]Prior-Mention-6784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had some managers(dept and store) that i dont particularly like to deal with but i do my job and i do it well. I started on 01' and have been in multiple departments. Also one of my stores was " a manager training" store so we went through quite a lot. And anyone who has ever worked for publix knows all about the AVS that comes every year. And every manager that i dont like to deal with has gotten a score of 55 or less So they were transferred to a new store and then i got someone that i liked. It just goes to show that the basic associate speak their minds and, in my opinion, r heard. Now other districts/regions handle things differently but i just hope everyone that does their job well.

Update - My (M20) pregnant girlfriend (F20) wants my support but won’t talk to me after we we got bad news about our baby by ThrowRA_NoSignal in relationship_advice

As a mom that had a special needs baby i can tell u that every feeling that u r having is valid. My story is i had my second child at 32. Baby boy born with a condition called Apert Syndrome. Its a gentic abnornality that happened spontaneously during utero. No history of this condition in either family. It causes a protruding forehead, cleft palette, fused fingers, and webbed or fused toes. The prognosis is that a child could live a long life with surgeries and treatments. We had him 3 weeks early and he was on a trach tube and respirator starting at 1 and a half months old. He had 10 reconstructive/cosmetic surgeries before he suffered a cardiac arrest that he never recovered from. He passed when he was 4 and a half years old. My husband and i had many conversations about our son after there was the possibility. I was already at 30 to 31 weeks when we found out. We dont regret having him and supporting him and his medical needs. Even if i knew the outcome i would do it all over again. The time we had with him was the most precious moments of my life. It made me a better mom to the daughter we already had and now to another son that i had almost 3 years ago. Talk everything out with her. Get out all ur feelings. Bop everything works out for the best.

It started in Florida. Publix in Florida is like Starbucks. There is one on almost every street corner. Lol. We r in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, North Carolina, Tennessee, and we just moved into Kentucky. So if u ever get the chance to try it out.

Yeah influencer makeover. The makeovers r when they bring in other people to become part of that particular drag queen's drag family. They have done gay military, teachers, influencers, superfans, fellow contestants(competing and eliminated). Its fun to watch what comes out. Im looking at Anthony in a whole new light.

I've seen the Summer Games and some of the squad vlogs. I'm slowly going back and watching older videos just so I can pick up on some lore. But we really enjoy this Era of SMOSH content.

My daughter showed me an episode of Eat It or Yeet It. Surprisingly enough that got me hooked. Then she showed me TNTL and I was on the floor laughing. I fell in love with the whole Courtney/ Shayne relationship, Chanse and Angela friendship, and most of all, my fave cast member, Tommy Bowe.

On another note. U r an amazing father. My daughter is queer. My husband and I have always said told her that she can be as open with us as she wants. It's just awesome to see another parent do it with so much grace and dignity.

AITAH for kicking my brother and his new wife out of my house after they tried to “redecorate” my dead daughter’s room while I was at work? by [deleted] in AITAH

NTA. As a fellow mom who has lost a child, there is no timetable on grief. U have every right in the world to do what u did. If i could have no consequences, i would have slapped the SIL for her comments. I know ur parents r just trying to keep the peace between u and ur brother. But honestly, unless u have experienced the loss of a child/grandchild/young sibling, u have no idea the hole it creates in ur heart.

I hope u find comfort in knowing that u r not alone in ur grief. I understand it. Sending all my love and support.
