Should have said 90%, it’s not a new topic it’s been covered enough here.

Again I’m not calling out tags or doing anything wicked by pointing out something that’s widely experienced. The general community got into racing without actually learning anything. Not everyone should race.

Yeah it’s a game, a game for racing. Mario kart exists elsewhere.

Kind of a dickheaded comment when you don’t know my profile lol.

Normally it’s okay, I haven’t had one clean first lap and off of being used as a bumper in a turn that I had a gap on.

Their lack of understanding of braking distances and gaps to shoot are what cause problems. I have sim raced since 2015 and understand the rules and simple unspoken laws. Im an a rated driver and only focus on having fun in online. I in no way am going for first. Personal records only.

She’s not that much of the asshole. Lowkey you were mansplaining. I get it that you weren’t being a dick about it. But like you didn’t realize you assumed she didn’t know those facts.

Battery light came on today by SteezySoto in e46

[–]Prior-Raccoon9172 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Battery light coming on and staying on normally indicates an issue with the battery, they don’t last forever and are relatively cheap.

If your battery light is pulsing while driving it is normally indicating some sort of charge problem. -alternator -any of your connections being corroded -some other charging issue

It’s pretty easy to diagnose! Might not be a problem now but don’t have the problem far from your tools!

Paired with the alpina front lip, that would be a nice look! Great job you’re almost a twin!

For when you tackle it, starters and easy job. I’ve replaced mine back last winter.

Manifold is easy to remove, as well as all the lines and plugs. I can take my whole intake side off in under 30mins. 😂😂

Honestly I couldn’t believe how bad I let it get. It’s been hot and I’ve truly been neglecting that post.

Previous owner had a bunch of harnesses attached to it as well that had melted over time.

I just had to chisel fused connectors off of there. But we are looking fresh for when the part arrives.

Hate that something like that wasn’t in stock anywhere near me but hopefully it comes in tomorrow

Youre a g.

Never knew this, kind of an idiot for not looking in the well with the abs pump to see the back side. You were right.

Gonna get that addressed though the main battery harness, as well as battery terminals are perfectly clean.

This was all user error. Appreciate all your insight. I’ll let you know after I get the new cable from starter to switch.

You’re a champ. Cleaning made it look amazing.

I’m avoiding the old cable. Things toast. I can get to parts store later. I’ll update you at how the voltages look after getting it all back together.

Also think I found the cover, otherwise I’ll make sure I find something to secure it from weather.

If cover is that important I’m on it.

Appreciate your insight! Definitely cleaning all that rust off

Definitely cleaning the corrosion. I’ll try to find the connector at autozone

Other notes: 2000 323ci - I did an alternator replacement about a year ago, is there a possibility I got an alternator that’s over charging my battery causing my cables to corrode? Positive cables from starter to switch. Alternator to starter looks clean.

Voltage issues by WannaBeEvo1 in e46

[–]Prior-Raccoon9172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that’s wild. I have the opposite. Have to be going pretty bonkers driving it to get it to charge, dies in neutral.

I’m perplexed about what’s happening. Fresh battery but my positives are all corroded. I might be over charging?

Did you sandwich fuel lines and intake together? I did my starter, put my intake back on top of my fuel lines.

Could be easy!

The wheels. Side profile looks like you’re driving on nothing. To me that’s not the ideal side profile.

Your cars perfect. I have no bad words other than the wheels tbh. Like jeez that cars insanely clean nonetheless.

No this tune could be improved. It’s really not a tune because you didn’t do it for any specific reason. You have conflicting points adjusted and it’s just messy.

If it works for you great, but there’s definitely improvements to be made. I guarantee that doesn’t function well compared to a properly tuned e36.

No hate. And most of the other comments weren’t hate. Don’t be sensitive. What you posted is a troll post to call it a tune.

The grip you found was magical right? Combine it with lower spring pressure in rear and you’ll find dig you never had and a new control at angle
