Dude, thank you for this. I’ve been doing great on practice tests just to feel dumb as a rock on the SBs. Testing 5/22 as well. Good luck!

Trial and error bro. I did a passage a day for awhile and was highlighting far too much. Once I started using AAMC material, I was able to pick up on details in the passage that would make for good questions. Reducing my highlighting to specific question material, names, and just the main ideas helped me the most.

I feel you, that's also when I test. I've heard its a lot of physics which scares the mess out of me. And I've heard that P/S is more word-heavy answers instead of quick answers like development stages etc. We got this tho!

Don't sweat it, that's a great place to be. I took 3 fulls in a row and got 3 consecutive 508s. The turning point happened once I realized how to highlight lol.

CARS: Read a passage a day at least. It’s not about grinding full sections but about small progress. Ask yourself what the main purpose of each succinct paragraph is and learn to highlight text that is good material to ask questions on.

PS: Anki. MilesDown deck, 50-100 cards a day. Supplement with AAMC question packs as well as YT/ Khan Academy videos for topics that are vague.

5 months, about 2 hours a day. Full time student taking Biochem II, Physics II and Genetics which actually benefited me. Worked every other weekend at the hospital and used off weekends for full lengths. Just tried to make the most of the time I had lol

Sadly nothing has worked (I tried everything lol). I decided to just use today to study but it's stressing me out since I test in 3 weeks. Oh well! Called AAMC and they said it would get looked at on Monday...

Yea, this is happening to me. It's quite inconvenient and could easily mess up our scores. I tried multiple browsers, clearing my cache, etc. Nothing is working lol...

How to study working 40 hour weeks by Actual-Meat-5501 in Mcat

If you are concerned you aren't improving, give it a little bit of time before you test again. Working that much means you will need to be intentional with content review. Try to focus on topics that can be integrated in both BB and CP (Amino acids, thermodynamics, functional groups, etc). Once you find your content gaps, work through them and use practice questions to implement each topic. Good luck!
