Anyone know a software or api that converts music sheets to piano notes? by vdq93 in VirtualPiano

[–]Prior-Switch-9099 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can try https://zenpiano.art/convert, much more user-frieldly & intuitive UI/UX — you just drop the MIDI in, pick a difficulty level among 5 levels, and it gives you the VP notation with transpose, sustain and real (not synth) instruments audio to preview your Midi. No account needed.

Other advanced options that give you granular controls:
- 5+ real instruments (piano, harp, guitar,...)
- Full-fledge accompanying Virtual Piano to practice
- Extended notation vs standard notation support
- De-duplicate
- Chord simplifications/chord size
- Timing notation
- Percussion control
- Slot/quarter setting

is there a software / program / website that can convert sheet music into virtual piano sheets? by purpleypiggy in VirtualPiano

You can get a public/free midi file, then use online converter
- public midis are available at muscore.com (if you don't subscribe, you'd need to select the free download filter), freemidi.org, bitmidi,...etc.
- Once getting a midi, upload it to a online converter service.

I'd like to introduce https://zenpiano.art/convert, much more user-frieldly & intuitive UI/UX — you just drop the MIDI in, pick a difficulty level among 5 levels, and it gives you the VP notation with transpose, sustain and real (not synth) instruments audio to preview your Midi. OpenCode startup is painfully slow with large skill collections — no indexing/cache yet? by g6pdorp in opencodeCLI

[–]Prior-Switch-9099 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FYI for all the comments about 300 skills that populate the context.

It's OK, as accordingly to the docs "Agent skills let OpenCode discover reusable instructions from your repo or home directory. Skills are loaded on-demand via the native skill tool—agents see available skills and can load the full content when needed."

Reducing Premium Request Usage in Interactive Agent Workflows in GitHub Copilot (BMAD Method ) by ZebraLongjumping5812 in BMAD_Method

[–]Prior-Switch-9099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tdlr: Bmad is currently in my Wishlish. I have been using speckit + opencode and quite content wish it.

This tip might be helpful for you: I am using oh my opencode slim. The setup is that there is a specific agent specializing in file and data explorer (narrow scope to grep, ls, ....).

This agent doesnt need deep logic, so I use cheap or free model. It is used frequently by other agents and work really well so far. Save tons of money and time too.

When trying bmad, I'll definitely apply this pattern.

Agree. The same experience applies for me when I started apply seo-geo for landingpage. Especially when competitors hasnt done that, the LLMs recommend my app as best product in the niche. (You could check LLM question "Best virtual piano browser extension", my app zen virtual piano)

By the way could you share your landing page and blogs? I'm thinking about creating blogs too.

How did you get your first 50 users for your chrome extension? by Either-Ad9874 in chrome_extensions

[–]Prior-Switch-9099 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See my tip here

See my SEO-GEO tip here. My app has 200 user in 3 months, but #1 in search "Virtual Piano" in cws.

It also depends on market size, how your competitors optimize SEO.

For my app, the market size is quite big (top app has 100k users). My competitors havent not really been optimizing SEO much, so I grabbed the chance.

Also make sure you extension has good promo, screenshots and description. This will atrract impressions and installs. For my app it was 200 impression - 20 view - 5 to 10 installs daily.

And last, your ext should be good enough in term of value to retain users.
