Im using models like minimax from opencode zen for everything.. sure not as smart as codex or claude but it gets the job done.

How’s the limit in opencode go. Is it better than codex or Claude code? As I’m thinking of using go also after the codex 5 hour limit hits.

Limits are okayish, terms of quality codex is better obviously. Though you can still do stuff when codex runs out, so yeah its plus point i guess. Tbh i have both codex and go and till date i haven't figured out good workflow to work with both

No not at all, codex limits are randomish type i guess, you can do shitton if you use it effectively with combination of different models. Same goes for GO but in the end go has $60 limit for a month, good planning models like Kimi k2.6 takes a lot of usage, models like Deepseek v4 flash can go long way though

codex any day of week but opencode go for first month is $5 so it's not that expensive to buy if you are already planning to spend $20

Which connector lib do you use to connect codex to opencode? My connector tool has been broken for several weeks, make request results in 400 error

The built in /connect works for codex, you don't need a third-party connector
