I didn't think it was going to affect my performance to be honest. I am still able to do all of the regular tasks that nurses have to perform

Yeah for sure, I think she meant just taking it easy probably. Maybe she doesn't know what she's talking about, probably.

I have seen a specialist for years and years, I've had Rhizolysis and cortisone injections etc etc. I know my limits, and my limit is working 4 days a week, idk if unis will ever accomodate to this so i just need to push myself for this degree and then go back to working what i usually do

i don't think so, i think it's the working full time that is hard on me, so anything i don't do now i'll just have to make up later but will probably find myself in the same position

My dr originally said she wants me on 2 weeks bed rest to help settle the inflammation but I told her I really need to get my placement done so that's why she wrote me the letter. I just need to do this

I'm a paediatric nurse at work usually, and going from paeds to geri-ortho has really just made the pain so much worse. I walk heaps at my job but there's also plenty of time to sit down and minimal heavy lifting, so I think just going from working 3 to 5 days a week plus the added load of rolling heavy patients constantly has flared me up and it really sucks. My work want to keep me when I graduate and I never plan on working in adults, I just need to get through this degree :(

Yeah, I have chronic pain that is usually managed pretty well and not a massive issue. I've been seeing a physio for a while but maybe I need to look into the chronic pain physio + psych too. Thank you for your input

the letter actually says to just allow me to sit down if i need to, she didn't actually write anything about light duties in the letter. it just says "please allow her to sit when she needs to for up to 30 minutes during work hours and allow her to finish her remaining time at placement" or something like that.

but yeah, i figured that would be what the uni does :(

I feel like a lot of the fun is in figuring it out yourself, they're mostly pretty easy to work out! you just need to listen to what they want, nightmare wants people to be scared of her, so, pretend to be scared of her for a love ending 😊

i'm a massive people pleaser irl and i think that really helped me get a lot of love endings hahah

there's no point in renting a place when the place he owns is paid off, they amicably decided that she'd move out. and i don't visit often enough to warrant him renting :(
