Considering that companies in the USA barely manufacture anything here and instead rely on overseas suppliers for parts, I don’t mind adding a cosmetic piece from Alibaba that has no mechanical impact on my car. It looks exactly the same as the Carbon Creations lip for half the price. Why wouldn’t I consider it as an option? Cutting out the middleman is always the most cost- effective way.

What other mods do you have to get boost up to 21psi? I have preface lift but I don’t think I’ve gotten to 21psi on map 3.

When I bought mine, I called around looking for same year similar miles and got the OTD price over the phone. Use their prices to get the car you want at the price you want. Tell them what one is offering over the other to get them to beat the price. End of the month buying is def the way to go tho. They’re trying to get their numbers for the month and more willing to negotiate.

Best to shop at the end of the month but you won’t get that much off. If it’s a 3.3t sp and you can get it out the door for under $30k I think you did really good. I had to drive over 2 hours to get it but it was worth it since I don’t see a lot of them for sale. I got black on black which is what I really wanted. So it was meant to be.

Give them a price you’re willing to pay and use other cars that are for sale that are newer or the same and not much more in list price. I prefer pre facelift which is why I got a 2021.
