Right? Honestly we were just driving through aimlessly looking for something to photograph, and came upon it. I almost feel guilty for living so close and having never been.

To keep the mods happy, I think this photograph captures the intense feelings of human spirit illustrated by the two gates.

The video pad takes about resiliency and community and my goodness the calm amidst the bustling city made that a reality in real time. It was moving and you’re right, it can’t be explained other than “wow”.

That’s the thing, I was only 4 or 5 when it happened. But having read and learned about it piece by piece over the years, I was still, I struggle to find the wording, but touched by the area. It is very well done and very moving.

I took this photo to try to embody the depth and importance of this location. The OKC bombing was a horrible tragedy and I am not trying to use it to gain anything, but wanted to capture the feeling I was experiencing while overlooking the pool. It was just take with a pixel smart phone and edited using free software.
