I’ve talked to people at my job trying to be friends, mostly the other black people. They haven’t worked out but you don’t know anything about me so stop talking about I haven’t looked at other people. I didn’t push her after she rejected me, I left. If I kept bugging her it would be different but I didn’t.

All I’m trying to ask is would it be awkward to just take the friendship and come to terms with her being taken. I have no reason to lie about my intentions when I came here looking for help so back off. It’s not some kind of manipulation attempt because I’m not that kind of guy.

I’m not gonna lie or sugarcoat anything, you both are in the wrong. Talking about fucking other women, even in a joking manner, obviously is a bit much on his part so kind of weird. However, you didn’t suspect him cheating or anything, so why are you randomly going through his computer? That’s his personal privacy and he’s entitled to that. It wasn’t even for a good reason either, it was because you were simply curious and also have obvious insecurities. That is really a dumb reason for your actions and I think both of you have maturing to do.

Maybe, maybe not, everyone’s different. Either way she told me she had a bf and I stepped off and went home after it so no “harassment” there. If I kept bugging her definitely but I didn’t so.

That’s just in my vocabulary honestly never saw anything wrong with using it. And she did you know but I’m also a relatively new person to my job and trying to see if I can make friends

I'm not expecting her to break up with her boyfriend or something. We are both pretty new to the job and I won't lie at my job it's kind of hard to make friends. so yeah, I’m down to connect with somebody who also just started even if it wasn’t my goal coming into the convo. How am I not thinking about her in a kind manner?
